Dear Guests We would like to update you all with the new measures that we have put in place for when we re-open on 13th July.
Firstly, We would like to remind you that we are Visit Wales accredited and as such we keep the highest standards on all aspects of your holiday. We are looking forward to re-opening with these new measures in place in order to offer a safe and fun holiday whilst observing social distancing rules.
We will keep these measures in place for as long as is recommended by the government. Our new temporary policy for refunds and cancellations is as follows: if we are made to close again over your holiday, we will offer you a full refund of any monies paid or offer to move your dates at no extra cost. If we are open but you are unable to travel due to reasons within your group such as high risk individuals or illness, we would still move your dates at no extra cost. We would appreciate as much notice as possible for changing dates or for cancellations.
Static Caravans Our cleaning regime is now extended to include double cleaning of all high contact areas with sanitiser before any arrival. Everything from light switches to remote controls and the new laminated guest folders are sanitised and we have Plastic key fobs which will also be sanitised. We will be cleaning in full PPE. Bed linen, towels, tea towels will continue to be supplied for static vans. Everything supplied is washed at high temperature and washed and replaced before each visit. Furthermore, beds will be made in a new set of gloves – so nobody has touched any of it. In addition to this I have just completed a course and certification in Biocide application using our brand new ultra low volume fogging machine. This ensures that the statics will be fully disinfected to the highest possible industry standards between changeovers.
Camper Vans, Touring Caravans and Tents We have decided to keep the availability on site to a maximum of 8 family units on site at any one time. (This includes our 3 static caravans that have shower and toilet facilities in them) This allows us to allocate toilet and shower facilities so people will feel safe. Cleaner and sanitiser will be provided in the shower and toilet areas for guests to use as well as the facilities daily clean at 11am in full PPE.
Reception onsite will be closed until further notice, although we do live on site and therefore ask all guests to send any questions or any other communication to myself (Alex) via text message to 07734436079. This way I will see the message a lot quicker than email. I will be around to deal with any issues promptly, whilst observing the guidelines on social distancing. Unfortunately I will no longer be able to show guests around on arrival. On arrival your allocated plot will be on a board at the front of reception. For static caravans the party name will be in the front window of the static van and the keys will be in the door. Our dog exercise area will be open with dog waste bags and dog waste bin. We need to record details from our guests, Name | Address | Telephone number | email address This is important information for track and trace. The information we be kept in accordance with GDPR protocols for 21 days and then shredded.
Due to the limited number of families on site we are not booking through any of the usual channels and ask that you make contact directly with us by telephone or email for availability. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org Telephone: 01974 251219 Thank you all for taking the time to read these new measures and we hope they will provide comfort and reassurance. We look forward to welcoming you, whenever that may be and wish you all the best in these uncertain times.
Stay safe and well, our very best wishes Sue & Alex Davies Aeron View Camping
